The Locwood Stop (Chinese: 樂湖站) is a MTR Light Rail stop. It is located on the ground at Tin Shui Road (Chinese: 天瑞路), between Locwood Court (Chinese: 樂湖居) and Sherwood Court (Chinese: 賞湖居) of Kingswood Villas (Chinese: 嘉湖山莊), in Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long District. It began service on 10 January 1993 and belongs to Zone 4.
History
The stop was planned to be named "Kingswood Stop" (Chinese: 嘉湖站) before Light Rail Tin Shui Wai Branch started operations in 1993. However, to consider other stops in individual areas of Kingswood Villas afterwards, its name was finalized to "Locwood Stop" when Tin Shui Wai Branch operated.
