The Loch of Skene is in Aberdeenshire, Scotland some 9 miles (14 km) west of the city of Aberdeen, near the Kirkton of Skene village.[1]
Loch of Skene is home to the Aberdeen and Stonehaven Yachting Club.[2]
It is designated as a Special Protection Area for wildlife conservation purposes.[3]
