Loano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 60 km southwest of Genoa and about 30 km southwest of Savona. As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 12,034 and an area of 13.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Loano contains the frazione (subdivision) Verzi.
Loano borders the following municipalities: Bardineto, Boissano, Borghetto Santo Spirito, and Pietra Ligure.
