Lloyd E. (Dob) Grow was an American football coach in the United States.[1] He was an alumnus of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and the University of Nebraska, where he received his Bachelor of Arts.[2] Grow had also help positions at Miami, Oklahoma, the University of Wyoming, Henderson State University and the United States Navy.[3]

Coaching career

Grow was the head football coach for the Kalamazoo Hornets located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He held that position for four seasons, from 1949 until 1952.[4] His coaching record at Kalamazoo was 12 wins, 20 losses and 1 tie.As of the conclusion of the 2010 season, this ranks him #9 at Kalamazoo in total wins and #13 at the school in winning percentage (.379).[5]

He died in June 1979, an obituary appeared in the Sports News, June 30, 1979.[6]
