Lithopoma phoebium, common name the longspine starsnail, is a species of medium-sized sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turbinidae, the turban snails. [1]
Distribution
This is a tropical Western Atlantic species.
Distribution of Lithopoma phoebium include: Aruba, Belize, Bonaire, Caribbean Sea, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curaçao, Gulf of Mexico, Jamaica, Lesser Antilles, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, San Andres and Venezuela.[2]

The maximum recorded shell length is 76 mm.[3]
