List of survivors of Sobibor

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of survivors of the Sobibor extermination camp proper. The list does not include the handful of those who were transported to Sobibor and were assigned to forced labor outside of the camp, such as Jules Schelvis. This list might be incomplete, but it is as complete as current records allow. There are 59 known Sobibor survivors; 48 male, 11 female. In contrast, around 200,000 people were murdered there.[1] Except where noted, the survivors escaped during the camp-wide revolt on October 14, 1943.
