Liophryne schlaginhaufeni is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is found in West Papua in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. This species of frog is perhaps most famously known for its mating habits in which the male excretes a hormone on an unsuspecting female, rendering it unconscious before copulation.
