Linley Frame (born 12 November 1971 in Melbourne, Victoria) is a former Olympic swimmer from Australia, who has completed a prominent swimming career for her native country, including a gold medal in the 100 m breaststroke at the 1991 FINA World Championships in Perth as well as a silver in the 200 m breaststroke and the 4 x 100 Medley Relay. She also competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
At the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) she was coached by Terry Gathercole and won the AIS Athlete of the Year in 1991 [1]
She was a poolside interviewer for Channel Seven at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and was a studio pundit for the 2004 Summer Olympics of Athens.
Frame appeared as herself in the eighth episode of the 1998 Australia television series The Games.
Frame works as a motivational speaker for both children and adults throughout Victoria. She also helped establish Red Dust Role Models, a charity that visits remote Aboriginal communities throughout the Northern Territory and Western Australia, teaching children the importance of a healthy lifestyle and good education.
She is a mother of two children.
She made a comeback to compete in the 2010 to 2013 Australian Championships.
