Linguère Department is one of the departments of Senegal, one of three located in the Louga Region. Its capital is Linguère, and it emcompasses some 19716 km/sq.
Arrondissements
Linguère Department is divided into four arrondissements:
- Barkedji
- Dodji
- Sagatta Dioloff
- Yang Yang
Population
As of the December 2002 census, the population was 194,890 inhabitants. In 2005, it is estimated to have 214,883.
