Linda Yueh

Dr Linda Yueh is a journalist, author and economist. She is Chief Business Correspondent and presenter of 'Talking Business with Linda Yueh' for BBC News.[1][2]

Education

Yueh has a BA from Yale University, a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University, a JD from New York University School of Law and a D.Phil in Economics from Oxford University.[3]

Career

She has been economics editor for Bloomberg TV and a corporate lawyer resident in New York, Beijing and Hong Kong.[4]

In April 2013 she became the Chief Business Correspondent for the BBC making her debut on Monday 13 May.[5] Also, her blog[6] debuted on the BBC News Business homepage, one of only three to feature, alongside the blogs of Business Editor Robert Peston, and Economics Editor Stephanie Flanders.

Academia

Yueh has substantial links to academia. She is a Adjunct Professor of Economics at London Business School,[7] and a Fellow and lecturer in Economics at St Edmund Hall, Oxford University[8] - where she is director of the China Growth Centre (CGC). She is also a Visiting Professor at Peking University and an associate of both the Centre for Economic Performance and IDEAS research centres at the London School of Economics (LSE).[9]
