Linda McCulloch is the current secretary of state of Montana. She became the first female Secretary for the State of Montana.[1]

A Democrat, she was elected to the office in November 2008 and took office in January 2009. She defeated incumbent Republican Brad Johnson. McCulloch previously served as state superintendent of public instruction from 2001 until 2009. She was also in the Montana House of Representatives, from 1995 to 2001.

McCulloch won re-election in 2012 for another 4 year term. In 2016 she will be ineligible to run again due to term limits.
