The Lincoln MKC is an upcoming compact premium crossover expected to go on sale in early 2014.[1] Lincoln launched the MKC at the 2013 LA Auto Show.[2] The MKC is built upon the Ford Global C platform.
History
Lincoln unveiled the MKC concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2013. The MKC is expected to go on sale in early 2014 as a 2015 model.[1]
The Lincoln design team created the MKC and MKZ, unlike other Lincoln designs.[citation needed]
Engines
The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four cylinder EcoBoost gasoline engine generating 240 horsepower. A 2.3-liter four cylinder EcoBoost gasoline engine generating 275 horsepower will also be offered.[2]
