"Like the Angel" is the first single from American punk rock band, Rise Against. The song appeared on Revolutions per Minute and was released April 8, 2003 (the same day as Revolutions per Minute). Live versions of the song appear on the Generation Lost DVD and the European release of This Is Noise. The single was only released as a promo single, along with "Heaven Knows",[1] which are the band's only two singles released under Fat Wreck Chords.

"Like the Angel" is featured on the soundtrack to the skateboarding video game, Tony Hawk's Underground. The song is also released on various compilation album like Take Action! Volume 3[2] and Staf Diecisiete Soundandculture.[3]

Reception

The song didn't chart on any charts in the U.S. or Canada and there was no music video released for the single. The song, however, has been well received among fans and is one of the band's highest rated singles on Rate Your Music.[4] Sputnikmusic praised the song for its solo and Tim McIlrath's voice for perfectly matching the music.[5]
