Life Is... is the fifth original studio album to be released by Ken Hirai under the label Defstar Records (Sony Music Entertainment). When released, it reached #1 on Japan's Oricon sales. chart[1]

Album details

  • A remix album of Life Is... was released half of a year later
  • Four of the singles were recorded in 2002.
  • Afterwards, the song for which the album was named for, "Life Is...", was released as a retake version being coupled with the song "Come Back" remix.
  • A concert tour of the album followed the release and was later released on DVD.
  • A music video collection titled, "Ken Hirai Films Vol.5" was released simultaneously with the album.
