Leycett was a small mining village in Staffordshire in the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Leycett was served by a railway station which was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway on 28 June 1880. The village hosted the Hollywood music festival in 1970.
The village has all but been knocked down now after the colliery closed down,
