Lewis Broome (born 2 March 1991) is an Australian rules footballer, who was drafted by the West Coast Eagles with their first selection in 2010 AFL Rookie Draft.

Originally from Looma, a small indigenous community 120 km from Derby, Broome attended the Clontarf Academy and played for Claremont in the West Australian Football League (WAFL).^[1] In 2009 he kicked five goals and was awarded the Mel Whinnen Medal for being the best player in Claremont's premiership victory over Peel Thunder.^[2]

On October the 25th, Broome notified the club he would not be renewing his contract, and had decided to abandon his AFL career in order to move back and live with his family in Looma.^[3]
