Levate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 km northeast of Milan and about 8 km southwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,388 and an area of 5.3 km².[1]
Levate borders the following municipalities: Comun Nuovo, Dalmine, Osio Sopra, Osio Sotto, Stezzano, Verdellino, Verdello.
