Let's Go Bang is the second studio album by Jennifer Love Hewitt, released in October 1995 by Atlantic Records. The producer, Angelo Montrone, "noticed her talents" and brought her to the attention of then CEO of Atlantic Records, Doug Morris who signed her.[citation needed] The album featured some of the top studio musicians at the time including Pino Palladino, Steve Ferrone, John JR Robinson, and Harvey Mason. The album was received with enthusiasm by several program directors at pop radio, however, with the departure of Doug Morris from Atlantic in 1995 the plans for promotion were canceled. The song "Free to Be a Woman", written by Jennifer Love Hewitt and Angelo Montrone, would go on to become the theme song for The Modern Girl on the Style Network.
