Lestizza is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 km northwest of Trieste and about 15 km southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,863 and an area of 34.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Lestizza contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Galleriano, Nespoledo, Santa Maria, Sclaunicco, and Villa Caccia.
Lestizza borders the following municipalities: Basiliano, Bertiolo, Codroipo, Mortegliano, Pozzuolo del Friuli, Talmassons.
