Lestes pinheyi is a species of damselfly in family Lestidae. It is found in Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and possibly the Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, shrub-dominated wetlands, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.
