Lengare is a village in Khanapur (Vita) taluka of Sangli district of Maharashtra in India.[1] This village is well known for its cultural importance. The dominant religion of people are Hindu's despite there are 25% from Muslim Religion. There is a darga (vernacular name - peer) of kalandar baba, where annual festival (jatra)/"Oorosh" is conducted. The date falls on second week of the new year (Gudi Padwa).
