Lempdes (French pronunciation [lɑ̃ːd]) is a commune in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne in central France.

Sights

The parish church of St Stephen (église Saint-Étienne) is in the Romanesque style and dates from the 12th century. It is first recorded in a document of the beginning of the 13th century.[2]

The famous 2CV car was invented in Lempdes
