Legião Urbana is the self-titled debut album by the Brazilian rock band Legião Urbana. It was released on 1 January, 1985.

Though the band was not a punk outfit, some songs here do show influence from British punk bands, particularly "Geração Coca-Cola", whose fast-paced acoustic guitar rhythm is heavily reminiscent of Buzzcocks. However, some songs have a darker tone, using even keyboard arrangements, which indicate influence from post-punk bands like Joy Division; examples of that are the droning "Ainda É Cedo" and the eerie "Soldados", which features a quasi-martial rhythm, though other upbeat post-punk influences can be heard on the punk-disco-funk song "A Dança". The album is not among the band's most famous, but it scored several hits like "Será", "Ainda É Cedo" and "Geração Coca-Cola". The synthesizer-laden ballad "Por Enquanto" is one of the band's most covered songs, as well as "Será".

In 2007, the Brazilian version of the magazine Rolling Stone elected Legião Urbana as the 40th most revolutionary Brazilian album of all time.[1]

The cover's drawings were made by the band's drummer Marcelo Bonfá.
