Legas is a multilingual publishing company devoted to the dissemination of original works, and specializing in the areas of culture, the language arts and social sciences.

Formed in 1987 in Ottawa, Canada by Dr. Leonard G. Sbrocchi, Legas continues today to publish high-quality publications of special interest in several languages for markets worldwide. Legas is represented in the U. S. by Professor Gaetano Cipolla in Mineola, New York.

In Canada, Legas has published numerous essays and monographs in Italian Literature (Pavese, Pirandello, Carducci, Pascoli, Risi and other works. In the U. S., Legas' publications include the Sicilian-English Journal Arba Sicula and such titles as Oriental Parnassus,[1] by Luciano Troisio, Violence, a Sicilian Drama,[2] by Giuseppe Fava, and a translation of The Poetry of Nino Martoglio by Gaetano Cipolla.
