Route background

The Kilometre Zero of the Federal Route 33 starts from Sungai Udang.

History

Construction began on 2002 and completed on 2005. In 2010, the highway was gazetted as the federal roads by JKR as Federal Route 31.

At most sections, the Lebuh SPA was built under the JKR R5 road standard as a dual-carriageway highway with partial access control, allowing maximum speed limit of up to 90 km/h.
