Lawrence Jackson (priest)

The Very Rev Lawrence Jackson , AKC(22 March 1926 -15 November 2002) was an eminent Anglican priest in the 20th century.^[1] A Yorkshireman, he was educated at King's College London and ordained in 1951.^[2] He was a Curate at St Margaret's Church, Leicester and then Vicar of Wymeswold. After further incumbencies at St James the Greater Leicester and Holy Trinity, Coventry ^[3] he was appointed Provost of Blackburn in 1973.^[4] He retired in 1992 and died a decade later.
