Laura Carmine (born April 2, 1983) is an American actress of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent. Currently resides in Mexico. She began her acting career in 2008 with several soap operas Un gancho al corazon, Corazón Salvaje (2009 TV series), Camaleones, Ni contigo ni sin ti, Amor Bravío, Quien eres tú and La tempestad.

Early life

Carmine is of American, Mexican and Puerto Rican ancestry. She was born in northern Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but when very little left to live in Puerto Rico. She obtained two degrees, one in advertising and marketing. In 2003, she began a master degree in international marketing, but interrupted her studies when she moved to Mexico for her casting at the Centre for Artistic Education at Televisa. Although, it was not until 2006 that she became a student.

Career

She began her television career in 2008. She had leading segments in exclusive programs at SKY Mexico. In 2008, she made a Televisa soap opera debut and make her first supporting role as Julia in Un gancho al corazon with Sebastian Rulli and Danna Garcia. Then in 2009, she played the supporting role as Perla in Corazón salvaje (2009 TV series) with Eduardo Yanez, Aracely Arámbula and Cristian de la Fuente. Then in 2010, she played the supporting role as Maria Jose in Camaleones with Belinda and Alfonso Herrera.

In 2011, she made her first starring role debut as Nicole Lorenti Tinoco in Ni contigo ni sin ti with Eduardo Santamarina, Alessandra Rosaldo and Erick Elias. In 2012, she made her second starring role and first villain role debut as Ximena Monterde in Amor Bravío with Silvia Navarro and reunited co-star Cristian de la Fuente.

In 2013 participates in the soap opera La tempestad production of Salvador Mejía Alejandre starring opposite William Levy, Ximena Navarrete Daniela Romo, Iván Sánchez, Mariana Seoane, reunited co-star César Évora and among others.

Also in 2013 she participated in the soap opera Quien eres tu, with Julian Gil. During this film she also played the leading role of two twin sisters. One being an evil role Veronica Garrido and then the other one of course was the nice one Natalia Garrido.
