Lars Tvinde

Lars Tvinde (1886–1973) was a Norwegian actor. He started working for Det Norske Teatret in 1912, and said the first lines at this theatre's opening performance, Ivar Aasen's Ervingen, on 2 January 1913. He is regarded as one of the driving forces at Det Norske Teatret, from its first season until his retirement in 1958.[1] He made his film debut in Fante-Anne in 1920. Among his film roles was the character "Sebaldus" in the 1937 film Fant.[2]
Tvinde was decorated Commander of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav in 1964.[1]
