Olga Bay larch or Olgan larch (Larix olgensis) is a species of larch.[1] It is named after Olga Bay in the Sea of Japan.
The distribution of the species includes Central Sikhote-Alin, rarely in North Korea and Heilongjiang, between 500 and 1100 metres in altitude.[2]
It's a deciduous coniferous tree, growing to 25–30 meters tall. Its leaves are needle-like, dark-green, 2–3 cm long with cones from 18 to 25 mm in length.
Also Olga Bay larch is sometimes treated as a variety of Dahurian Larch Larix gmelinii var. olgensis (Ostenf. & Syrach).[3]
Larix olgensis is a vulnerable species.
