Lao Jie Station (Chinese: 老街站; literally "Old Street Station"), is a station of Shenzhen Metro. It provides Cross-platform interchange with the Luobao & Longgang Lines. It is the busiest station in the network in terms of system entries and exits at 61,600 passengers a day.[1] It started operations on 28 December 2004. It is located at the underground of the junction of Shennan Fudao (Chinese: 深南辅道), Jiefang Road (Chinese: 解放路) and Jianshe Road(Chinese: 建设路) in Luohu District, Shenzhen, China. It approaches Dongmen Business Area (Chinese: 东门商业区), one of the oldest areas in Shenzhen established in Ming Dynasty.[2] This leads it to be alternatively known as "Lao Jie" or "Old Street".[3][4]
