"Lanterns" is the second single from Australian alternative rock band Birds of Tokyo's fourth album, March Fires. The song peaked at #3 on the Australian Singles Chart,[1] becoming their first ever single to hit the top 10 in Australia.[2] The song was used for a preview promo for the second season of Revenge on Australia's Seven Network in 2013.

Chart performance

"Lanterns" debuted on the ARIA Singles Chart at #5 on the issue dated 28 January 2013.[3] It reached its peak of #3 two weeks later. As of 22 April 2013, "Lanterns" has spent a total of 13 weeks in the ARIA top 50. It had also been at #1 on the ARIA Australian Singles Chart for a total of 9 weeks.[4]

Music video

The music video for "Lanterns" was directed by Josh Logue and was shot in Sydney, Australia.[5]
