Lanišče is a settlement immediately east of Škofljica in central Slovenia. The Municipality of Škofljica is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Ursula and belongs to the Parish of Škofljica. It is a 14th-century Gothic building. Fragments of early 15th- and 16th-century frescos are preserved on its interior walls.[3]
