Langmuir Cove

Langmuir Cove (66°58′S 67°10′W / 66.967°S 67.167°W / -66.967; -67.167Coordinates: 66°58′S 67°10′W / 66.967°S 67.167°W / -66.967; -67.167) is a cove in the north end of Arrowsmith Peninsula, Graham Land, Antarctica. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Irving Langmuir, an American physicist who studied the formation of snow.[1]
