LANDSALE is P-MODEL's second album. It has a sound similar to the band's previous album, IN A MODEL ROOM, although it's harsher (with the exception of the opening track OHAYO, whose strings and piano hinted what direction P-MODEL leader Susumu Hirasawa would take with his music). The album deals with criticizing "the System" and the unnecessary formalities it imposes in society, with sarcastic lyrics. The album was remastered by Hirasawa and re-released on the Ashu-on [Sound Subspecies] in the solar system box set on 10 May 2002; it was put on CD 1, with IN A MODEL ROOM.
