Landon Ferraro (born August 8, 1991) is an Canadian ice hockey centre who is currently playing for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round (32nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Amateur career

Ferraro was drafted second overall by the Red Deer Rebels in the 2006 WHL bantam draft.

Ferraro was ranked as the 18th best North American skater for the 2009 Draft by Central Scouting. On June 27, 2009, Landon Ferraro was selected by the Detroit Red Wings, 32nd overall, second in the 2nd round, at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Ferraro was traded by the Red Deer Rebels to the Everett Silvertips on July 26, 2010.

Personal

Ferraro is the son of longtime NHL player and current TSN Analyst Ray Ferraro. Growing up, Ferraro lived in New York City, Los Angeles and Atlanta,[1] before moving to the Vancouver suburb of Burnaby with his mother, Tracey following his parents divorce.
