Landmark East is an independent boarding and day school for students with language and learning difficulties, including attention deficit disorder, dyslexia and non-verbal learning disabilities in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. Since 1979 it has helped hundreds of domestic and international students reach their full academic potential. Students benefit from small classes and a student/teacher ratio of 3:1. The Middle School program (grades 6-9) develops skills according to the student’s instructional level. The High School program (grades 10-12) provides university prep courses using adaptive strategies to help students earn a Nova Scotia graduation diploma. The English as a Second Language (ESL) program teaches students who have difficulty with English skills in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, listening, understanding and speaking.
