Landhi

Landhi (Urdu: لانڈھی ) is one of the neighbourhoods of Landhi Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. [1]
There are several ethnic groups living in Landhi including Muhajirs, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of Landhi Town is estimated to be nearly one million.
Landhi is located in the eastern part of Karachi, nestled between Malir Town and Korangi Town. The area is divided into 6 sections, namely Landhi 1-6. Landhi is home to Babar Market, one of Asia's largest open air markets. Shoppers can find everything from fruits and vegetables to clothing at the market.
