Lancieux (Breton: Lanseeg, Gallo: Lansioec) is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France.

Inhabitants of Lancieux are called lancieutins or lancieutains in French.
Personalities
The Scottish poet and writer Robert W. Service known as the "Bard of the Yukon" used to spent summers in Lancieux from 1913 until his death in 1958. He deeply affectionate the town of Lancieux and its marvellous seaside. In many occasions, he generously gifted the town: for the school, the war memorial,...[1] Robert W. Service is buried in the town cemetery.[2]
