Lance Leipold (born May 6, 1964) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head football coach at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, a position he has held since the 2007 season. Leipold's Wisconsin–Whitewater Warhawks won the NCAA Division III National Football Championship in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013 and were runners-up in 2008. They have faced the Mount Union Purple Raiders in each of the six title games. To date, Leipold has a record of 94–6 as head coach, giving him a winning percentage of .940.
