Lamoille (also spelled La Moille) is an unincorporated community in Winona County, Minnesota, United States. Lamoille is located in Richmond Township along the Mississippi River and U.S. Routes 14 and 61, 9 miles (14 km) east-southeast of Winona. According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Lamoille has an estimated population of 40.[2] Lamoille took its name from Lamoille River and Lamoille County in Vermont. It developed at a point where a stagecoach route crossed the Mississippi and was platted in 1860. Lamoille had a post office from 1858 to 1975.[3]
