Lambda Tau Omega (ΛΤΩ) is a multicultural sorority founded in 1988 at Montclair State College, now known as Montclair State University, in Montclair, New Jersey. The sorority was founded by sixteen women who felt the need for a multicultural sorority at Montclair State College. Dissatisfied with the options of Greek organizations available at their school, they created Lambda Tau Omega.
