Lalitha Kumaramangalam

Lalitha Kumaramangalam (Tamil: லலிதா குமாரமங்கலம்) is a member of national executive of Bharatiya Janata Party. She was earlier national secretary of the party. She is sister of Rangarajan Kumaramangalam and daughter of Mohan Kumaramangalam. She is also the niece of the late Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army, General P.P. Kumaramangalam, PVSM, DSO. She contested Lok Sabha elections twice(2004 & 2009) after her brother's death but lost on both occasions . She hails from Tamil Nadu in India.
She is an economics graduate from St. Stephen's College, Delhi and an MBA from Madras University. She runs Prakriti, an NGO for the last many years.
