Lakeland Radio is a radio station based in Kendal, Cumbria in the United Kingdom. It is owned by the CN Group and broadcasts a mix of local news, weather & travel for the South Lakeland area. Lakeland Radio transmits on 100.1, 100.8 FM & 101.4FM.

Transmission

The station broadcasts from Plumgarths at the north end roundabout of the Kendal A591 bypass, on Crook Road, in South Lakeland, Cumbria. Signals come from the Kendal transmitter next to the A684 on 100.1 MHz and from the Windermere transmitter at the side of Windermere Lake on 100.8 MHz and from Keswick Forest on 101.4 MHz The RDS name is LAKELAND.

Branding

The station has a green version of the company logo. On air idents are produced by the Steve England jingle company. The imaging contains the slogan "The Sound of the Lake District".
