Lachlan Buchanan (born 25 April 1990) is an Australian actor.

Biography

Lachlan Buchanan was born in Australia in 1990 growing up in Maleny.[1] Lachlan Buchanan attended Maleny State School and Matthew Flinders Anglican College. Buchanan acted in soap operas such as Home and Away.[2] He has also acted in several films, with support roles in Arcadia Lost and All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane; and as a lead in Newcastle.[2][3][4]

Buchanan played Scott Mitchell in the first CMT sitcom Working Class, which premiered in January 2011.[5][6]

He is an experienced surfer, and did half his surfing scenes in Newcastle himself.[2] He is fluent in French.[4]

As of 2010, he is based in Los Angeles.[2]
