Lacewood

Lacewood is a common name for lumber made from the wood of trees of species Cardwellia sublimis.

The term may also refer to the wood of the American Sycamore, which has a similar appearance when quartersawn. In the UK, it refers to the quartersawn wood of the related London Plane.[1]
