L'Orange GmbH is a German company specializing in the design and creation of injection solutions for medium and high speed off-highway diesel engines.[1] It became a member of the Tognum group in 2006. Founded by Rudolf L'Orange [2] in 1933 in the town of Feuerbach,[3] L'Orange designs and manufactures pumps, injectors, and valves to tolerances of .001 mm.[4] Introducing the first electronically controlled Common rail fuel injector system in August 1997,[5] L'Orange has a considerable market share of its target market.
