L'Est Républicain

L'Est Républicain (founded in 1889 by Léon Goulette) is a daily regional French newspaper based in Nancy. As of 2003, its daily circulation was 206,970.
The newspaper was founded on the grounds of anti-Boulangisme and has its primary market in the régions of Lorraine and Franche-Comté.
It belongs to the group France Est Medias, who also owns the newspapers La Liberté de l'Est and Les Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace.
On September 23, 2006, L'Est Républicain published a report on the possible death of Osama Bin Laden.
