Lü Wenjun (Chinese: 吕文君; Pinyin: Lǚ Wénjūn; born 11 March 1989) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Shanghai East Asia in the Chinese Super League.

Club career

Lü Wenjun joined Genbao Football Academy in 2000 and was promoted to the Shanghai East Asia first team during the 2006 season. He played as a regular starter as a centre forward and made an impression within the team as Shanghai East Asia won promotion to the second tier in the 2007 season. He was linked with a move to Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda at the end of 2011, but decided to stay at the club.^[1] Lü scored six goals in twenty-nine appearances in the 2012 season as Shanghai East Asia clinched the second tier league title and was promoted to the top flight.
