Lúčina

Lúčina (Hungarian: Hüvész) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1787.
Geography
The municipality lies at an elevation of 495 metres (1,624 ft) and covers an area of 1.889 km² (4.89 mi²). It has a population of about 155 people.
Cultural
Lúčina is also the name of the Lúčina Slovak Folklore Ensemble based in Cleveland, Ohio. They perform authentic Slovak dances from different regions of Slovakia.
