The Løren Line (Norwegian: Lørensvingen), previously known as the Hasle Line (Norwegian: Haslesvingen) is a proposed expansion of Oslo Metro connecting Ring Line and Grorud Line. It will allow trains to pass directly from Sinsen to Økern, via a new station, Løren. It will probably be placed just north and parallel with the Alnabru–Grefsen Line. It will allow trains to go directly from the Grorud Line onto the Ring Line, and thus pass from east to west without passing through the packed Common Tunnel. It is part of the political compromise Oslo Package 3, and estimated to be completed by 2017.[1]
